However, like the final, a lot of the results in this tournament or at this venue have been dictated by toss, as the team batting first has had a significant advantage over the team batting second, as the pitch kept crumbling through the evening, and batting got harder, especially against the bowlers who have mastered the slower ones.

The Indian cricket team faces a new set of challenges in the UAE for an upcoming tournament, contrasting sharply with their recent Champions Trophy victory there. The primary concerns are the conditions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi during the peak of summer. Match start times have been pushed back to 6:30 PM local time to combat the intense heat. This late start, however, introduces the significant factor of dew, which makes the ball difficult for bowlers to grip in the second half of the game, giving a considerable advantage to the team batting second.
