India Women (IND-W) vs Sri Lanka Women (SL-W) 2nd T20I Live Cricket Score Updates: Harmanpreet Kaur’s India face Chamari Athapaththu’s Sri Lanka in Visakhapatnam in the 2nd T20I on Tuesday. India were dominant in the first T20I with bat and ball, so much that even dropping as many as five catches did not stop them from running away to a nine-wicket win. That was their eighth win in their last 10 T20Is against Sri Lanka.
Athapaththu had said after the defeat in the opening match of the series that Sri Lanka were far too defensive with the bat. The conditions were very much batting-friendly and it is expected to remain the case today as well. This was underlined by India wrapping up the chase in just 14.4 overs with Jemimah Rodrigues smashing a fluent half-century. The hosts will now be looking to strengthen their grip on the series.

India vs Sri Lanka: Jemimah Rodrigues puts on an offside masterclass as India return to action with a comfortable win in first T20I
On a night when Sri Lanka batters combined to hit nine fours, Jemimah Rodrigues, by herself, hit 10 during a sublime, unbeaten knock of 69 that guided India to a comfortable eight-wicket win in the first T20I at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. The victory — the team’s first game since the 50-over World Cup final win in November — was effectively set up by a collective bowling display that restricted Chamari Athapaththu’s side to just 121/6. But the headlines will rightly belong to Jemimah for the class of her innings, with her offside strokeplay being a standout feature. Read more from Vinayakk Mohanarangan here.
