Manchester United will hope to bounce back after falling to defeat at Aston Villa at the weekend but will expect a tough challenge against a side they have beaten just once in their last six games in all competitions.

United’s four-game unbeaten run came to an end against in-form Villa on Sunday in their first game since Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui left for the Africa Cup of Nations. There was also another major blow as influential midfielder Bruno Fernandes picked up an injury that will rule him out for a few weeks. That leaves Ruben Amorim with a big call to make in midfield, as many United fans will want to see the out-of-favor Kobbie Mainoo handed a chance to impress.
