This undated photo released by the US Department of Justice shows Jeffrey Epstein. (U.S. Department of Justice via AP) One of the recently released documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein is a letter he wrote the day before his mysterious death.
Epstein attempted to mail a letter to Larry Nassar, the former doctor for the USA Gymnastics women’s national team, serving multiple sentences for sexually abusing hundreds of young athletes.

The letter was sent from the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) in Manhattan, where Epstein was jailed, but it never reached Nassar.
Epstein’s letter to Nassar
“Dear L. N.
As you know by now, I have taken the “short route” home. Good luck! We shared one thing . . . our love & caring for young ladies at the hope they’d reach their full potential.

Our president shares our love of young, nubile girls. When a young beauty walked by he loved to “grab snatch,” whereas we ended up snatching grub in the mess halls of the system.
Life is unfair.
Yours
J. Epstein,” the letter read.
🚨 REVEALED: In Data Set 8 of the Epstein files release, which was briefly posted on the Justice Department’s website today, there is a letter alleging to be sent from Jeffrey Epstein to convicted sex offender Larry Nassar.

Letter found after Epstein’s death
The existence of the letter was first reported by the Associated Press in 2023.
It was one of the more than 4,000 pages of documents related to Epstein’s death that AP had obtained from the federal Bureau of Prisons under the Freedom of Information Act.
Epstein’s letter to Nassar was found returned to sender in the jail’s mail room weeks after his death. “It appeared he mailed it out and it was returned back to him,” the investigator who found the letter told a prison official by email, the AP report had stated. “I am not sure if I should open it or should we hand it over to anyone?”
