The US Justice Department on Tuesday released another batch of files related to deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein from its investigations into the late financier. The latest release comes after US President Donald Trump’s administration published a large trove of Epstein files recently in its attempt to comply with the new law which has forced the federal government to disclose the details related to the disgraced sex offender.

President Donald Trump’s name has appeared in the latest set of files which includes references to flight records related to Epstein’s private plane. However, the federal authorities have not accused the Republican president of criminal wrongdoing related to Epstein, CNN reported.

The law, which mandates the Congress to release the Epstein files, overwhelmingly passed the Congress last month despite Trump administration’s efforts to keep the documents sealed.
