A magnitude 5.92 earthquake struck off Mindanao in the Philippines on Tuesday, according to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences.

The quake’s epicenter was recorded at a depth of 10 km, located at 6.31°N latitude and 126.29°E longitude.

The tremor comes just a month after a powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit offshore in the southern Philippines, triggering tsunami warnings and prompting coastal evacuations, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) had said.

This is a developing story.
